✅ Application Flow Summary

  1. Contractor submits applicant’s ID (e.g., driver’s license image) to generate an application ID. 
  2. Borrower fills out the application with personal, loan, and income information. 
  3. A soft credit pull is conducted (no impact to credit score).
  4. After selecting a loan program and submitting the application, GreenSky performs a hard credit inquiry.
  5. If approved, the borrower receives electronic and mailed loan agreement documents and funding

Disclosures: What Borrowers Agree To

 1. Terms of Use

By using the lender to submit an application through website, mobile app, or services—even if you don’t take a loan—you agree to the website and mobile application Terms of Use, which include standard terms on service access, arbitration, account rules, and limitations of liability

 

2. Privacy Notice (Privacy Policy)

the lender's Program Privacy Policy explains:

  • What personal data we collect (e.g. SSN, income, credit history)
  • How they use and share your data (including third parties and affiliates)
  • Your rights under California’s CCPA/CPRA (e.g. opt-outs, data deletion)
  • Retention and data security practices
    It’s effective as of June 18, 2025 and applies across their websites, mobile apps, and communication channels

 

3. Consent to Electronic Records & Communication

Borrowers affirm that they:

  • Can receive loan agreements, disclosures, account updates, statements, and notices electronically instead of on paper 
  • Accept using electronic signatures, which hold the same legal weight as physical ones 
  • Meet technical requirements (e.g. valid email, PDF reader, supported browser/device) 
  • Understand they can withdraw consent at any time without cost—but doing so may prevent loan approval or account access
    Borrowers can still request paper versions at no cost
